Introducing Tiga AI

The worst-kept secret in enterprise sales is that the SDR model is in dire need of a refresh. Buyers have learned to filter out the legions of glorified telemarketers flooding their inboxes with mass market, auto-sequenced, boilerplate messages. Startups building automated AI-SDRs only perpetuate the same broken system, replacing earnest junior sales folk with automatons even less equipped to engage prospective buyers. Rather than reimagining the sales process, these AI clones double down on the same mercenary playbook that has led to immeasurable buyer fatigue and seller frustration. Surely there must be a better way to revitalize the sales process.

Enter Tiga AI, a DC-area startup modernizing how sales teams prospect, personalize outreach, and streamline sales workflows. Tiga offers the first AI agent purpose-built to autonomously discover custom buying signals and activate personalized outreach to the buyer. Tiga’s mission is to help full-cycle account executives engage in warm, insight-driven prospecting at scale, thereby amplifying the relationship side of selling: curiosity about and attentiveness to the buyer as an individual, not just another name on a spreadsheet.

Founded in early 2023, Tiga AI has its origins in a vision shared by founder/CEO Andre Yee and CTO Mike Ball, who have worked together for more than a decade at revenue tech companies Eloqua (acquired by Oracle) and Triblio (acquired by IDG). Rounding out the team is VP Engineering Michael Yee, along with a tight-knit group of customer success and engineering professionals who share deep roots in marketing automation and AI-driven sales solutions.

Why We Invested

Team of Alchemists

Andre Yee has a remarkable track record at the intersection of marketing and data. As the first product leader at Eloqua, he helped define the marketing automation category through its acquisition by Oracle. He served on the Board of NetProspex, guiding its growth through a successful acquisition by D&B. More recently, Andre founded Triblio, a trailblazer in account-based marketing, which he led through a successful exit to Foundry (an IDG Company), becoming a key foundation of their software marketing platform. We’re excited to back Andre alongside longtime collaborators Mike Ball and Michael Yee, a team that has worked together seamlessly for over a decade. We love backing teams with this kind of chemistry, domain expertise, and proven execution.

Immediate and Measurable Impact

Although early in its journey, Tiga AI has already helped customers streamline their sales processes, warm up prospect relations, and automate monitoring of bespoke signals specific to their businesses (as one example, a B2C retail software replaced manual store-opening research with Tiga’s automation, freeing up team members to respond immediately to key market signals rather than chasing them).

First-Mover Advantage in a Shifting Market

As companies increasingly reduce or repurpose SDR roles, Tiga is at the forefront of this shift toward full-cycle sellers. Many legacy sales engagement tools were built for cold, mass-market outbound. Tiga’s AI-driven, personalized approach stands out in a crowded field, as more sales leaders recognize the need for deeper relationship-building and more targeted, context-rich outreach.

Groundbreaking Technology

Tiga’s value proposition centers on modernizing sales with:

  • Custom buyer signals that go well beyond basic contact data.

  • Hyper-personalized outreach that automates otherwise repetitive tasks.

  • Seamless integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, and other core sales tools.

Tiga’s platform offers a glimpse of how account-based selling and revenue operations can evolve: consolidating once-disparate data sources, surfacing meaningful signals, and automating much of the tedious, repetitive work that eats into precious selling time. We’re excited to support Andre and the Tiga team as they capitalize on this movement toward warmer, more personalized outreach methods.

We look forward to seeing Tiga continue to expand its platform capabilities, refine its GTM strategy, and harness the power of AI to move beyond traditional, cold mass outreach. With its cutting-edge approach, proven leadership, and growing roster of early customers, Tiga is well-positioned to shape the future of B2B prospecting and sales enablement.

Stay tuned for more updates. For those seeking a deeper dive, we’ll be publishing additional insights and a closer look at Tiga’s approach in the coming weeks.
