Preston DeGarmo is a member of the investment team at Armory Square Ventures, where he spearheads the platform function. He previously led the Business Development team at Impira, a venture-backed ML startup that was sold to Figma in 2022. Preston earned his B.A. from Pomona College and an M.F.A. in Nonfiction Writing from Columbia University, where he was a Chair’s Fellow and the Managing Editor of The Line Literary Review. At ASV, his responsibilities span sourcing, marketing, and platform initiatives. Preston was born in Seattle and has lived in California and Georgia. He resides in New York City.
