Steve Hovagimyan is a Venture Advisor at Armory Square Ventures and a Managing Principal and Consulting CFO at FinStrat Management. He brings more than 25 years of experience as a CFO, operator and investor helping venture-backed technology companies build the financial foundations required to raise capital, scale effectively and create enterprise value. Since joining Armory in 2019, Steve has contributed to investment committee and pipeline reviews, evaluated hundreds of Seed and Series A companies, and advised portfolio company leaders on market sizing, unit economics, financial models, financing readiness, and board and investor communications. At FinStrat, he leads strategic CFO engagements supported by teams across FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, controls, and audit readiness. Most recently, Steve served as Head of Finance at Quartermaster AI, where he built the company’s finance infrastructure and helped it raise $183 million in Series A and B funding. His earlier senior finance leadership roles include MassPay, LiquidityBook, Penn Interactive and Jump Ramp Games, Boston Technologies, Portware and Andrew Davidson & Co. Steve began his venture capital career at Edison Partners and earlier helped establish Instinet’s Strategic Investment Group.
